I am trying to get a jump on the holiday season. I am typically the person who is desperately searching for the perfect last minute gift, dress, and dream up the most wonderful last minute holiday card ideas. Not this year! I already ordered and received our girls' holiday dresses in the mail and have several ideas for holiday cards in the works. I was approached about designed a gingerbread themed card and busily went to work. I love working from my customer's ideas. I have found when they give me the theme, my creativity is guided and my ideas tend to flow more freely. Anyway, here are two holiday party invitations that I've put together for this year. I love the holidays. We finally had a taste of fall temperatures today, so I can finally sense that they are even closer. Love it!
I love the idea of photo cards telling the entire story. Pictures definitely do most of the talking, but story cards a great alternative to including a separate "letter." I am focusing most of my holiday cards on this idea and will certainly be using this option for my personal cards this year. I love them!
